It was a tough day at work, but a beautiful day outside.  When the whistle blew, I decided to put the day and the gorgeous light to good use, so I packed my video camera and tripod and headed to one of my favorite spots — the Monocacy Creek park in Bethlehem.  This place represents some fabulous WPA-era work (the stone work is gorgeous and the markers say “1936.”

Anyway, I tried a bunch of different things to get this footage — adjusting white balance to get the “golds” to show, different shutter speeds, manual adjustment on exposure.  This was shot in HD (1080i/60 frames) on my Canon HV20 with a polarizing filter.
